More than 80 projects realised since 2000
The FU International Academy has been working in the realisation and management of EU mobility projects as a promoter, hosting organisation or intermediary. Since the year 2000 we have participated in more than 50 projects.
- As a Receiving Partner we help to realise projects for EU Schools and Colleges who want to send their students to The Canary Islands to gain work experience.
- As an Intermediary for Receiving Partners in Tenerife we can organise the details of the logistics as we already have the resources in place: e.g. language tuition, transfers, all types of good quality student accommodation and a 24 hour student helpline. We provide constant monitoring of each participant, final report, evaluation and Europass.
- As an Intermediary for Sending Partners, we represent schools and vocational training colleges in Tenerife who want to plan projects abroad. These institutions can take advantage of our contacts in other countries and our expertise in planning and implementing projects.

FU International Academy specialises in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and cultural preparation of the participants in LDV-projects. Our school is officially recognised by The Cervantes Institute which guarantees the quality of Spanish teaching in educational centres around the world. The school is fully adapted for handicapped students or visitors and we have been awarded the International Symbol of Access (ISA). We are members of The Spanish Federation of Associations of Schools for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (FEDELE) which was set up to promote good practice in Spanish teaching.

Over the years we have planned projects for many Sending Organisations on the Canary Islands and with this experience we can help you with the project design and budget claculation. As a Sending Partner your organisation can apply for EU funding for a preparatory visit to our Academy to learn more about the scheme.
If you have an approved Mobility programme or are planning to submit an application please contact us and we will provide you with a budget.
If you are new to the LLP (Life Long Learning Programme) don`t hesitate to ask us. Each country has its own National Agency to manage the LLP. They run regular seminars and workshops to further inform potential applicants.
