Language and Cultural Preparation
FU International Academy specialises in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and in the cultural preparation of the participants in EU funded projects. Our school is officially accredited by The Cervantes Institute which guarantees the quality of Spanish teaching in educational centres around the world.
Disabled students: The school is fully adapted for handicapped students or visitors and we have been awarded the International Symbol of Access (ISA).
We are members of The Spanish Federation of Associations of Schools for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (FEDELE) which was set up to promote good practice in Spanish teaching.

Teaching Method
Our teachers are university graduates and native Spanish speakers. Many of them have worked with us on a full-time basis for several years and regularly update their skills. They are always on hand to give students individual advice, and the friendly atmosphere in the school makes the students feel welcome and at home from day one.
Lessons include a great variety of topics to give students a good working knowledge of the language. As well as teaching all aspects of grammar, reading and writing we also place great emphasis on conversational skills and the vocabulary relevant to the work placement.
Small groups get the best results; we offer six teaching levels with 3 to 8 students in each class and. During July and August this may increase to 10 students per class. There are also specialist Business and Spanish for Tourism courses and individual classes.
